Starting off i bought a bone stock 2008 ttr110 last spring. It had been ridden 3 times by this guys kid that crashed and was now scared of the bike and it only had some minor scratches in the plastics. I've been slowly adding stuff to it, unfortunately, don't have any pics of when i first brought it home until now but i will have tons of pics during this winter build!
So far it has:
Klx bend Pro tapers, BBR fork springs, BBR shock spring, IMS super stock pegs, FMF factory 4.1, GYTR high flow air filter, and GYTR jet kit.

I got a steal on a Sano klx front rim and spokes for front and rear but they no longer make rear rims and sold out a couple days before i bought the rest of the stuff. So, I bought i used BBR rim from a member on here. Yes, I know they're mismatched but whatever..

I've got klx hubs and a set of black spoke skins on the way from Koby and will be building klx wheels to put on. I've read that they swap on fine but I will try it out and show you all the result!
Also, picked up a gytr tall seat and skid plate for it today.

All the goodies so far^^

^^Cleaned up the storage room in my basement and got a nice warm spot to work! My buddies xr/crf 50 on the right gettin torn down and my ttr on the left before the build. (yes thats a stand not a milk crate! :p 1 of my good stands in under my 250f in storage and my other stand has my brother's bobber on it all stripped down to be painted..)

^^Where I'm at right now. Swingarms off and all ready to be bead blasted tomorrow and then painted black.

Any advice or comments are appreciated! So far I'm not planning on going too crazy with the build but should turn out to be a nice stock/mod. We'll see how the funds are doing and might get a little carried away! ;)

This is the earliest picture that I could find of it. Still had all the dealer stickers and stuff when I bought it.
Also, sorry about the pictures being kind of small its the only way that I've figured out how to add pictures. Just click on the picture for a full version!

Thanks guys! I love my ttr it sucks that barely anyone rides them and that theres not many parts out there. That triple looks siick too. I've heard of a couple people snapping their frames in half.. I'd be pissed. Haha I've hit a pretty big uphill triple a couple times at a local place that I had to huck like crazy and I was pretty nervous about something breaking or bending

I've got a little progress today:

I grinded off the tabs for the stock plastic chain gaurds and got it blasted a little but ran outa time. Ill finish getting the swingarm all prepped for paint tomorrow and try to find a nice warm place to get it painted!

Well, got the hubs and spoke skins in today from Koby! Anybody wanting colored spokes or even questions about minis he's the guy to go to.
Well there's the package. Updates about hubs working and so on should be coming over the weekend when I get time to sit down and work on it! I'll keep you all posted!

Had a couple minutes to take a look at it, aaaannddd, hubs definitely aren't plug and play like I'd hoped. The brakes/brake hubs are bigger on a ttr and therefore don't fit in the klx hubs. Soo now gotta buy klx brake hubs and spacers and all the hardware... Hopefully that'll work! Haha.
On a good note the swingarms all stripped and ready to be primed and painted.
Any ideas or advice on the brakes?

TTR110 was the best bike bone stock, till the CRF110 came out. I think the TTR110 make a lil better bottom end then any 110 (stock trim) to date! I got a 2010 TTR110 for my son... Until the Honda came out.

And I know the TTR110 makes the most power.... Cuz I have ALL of the 110's...

Hahaha that's awesome. I wish I could have all of them to compare and see what all can be used on the others and stuff. But I definitely agree that the ttr has a little more grunt on the bottom compared to my buddies 110s and stuff. I haven't ridden a CRF yet but they look like they'd be killer.. And they look sick too

Yea, I agree. I really think the ttr is the fastest 110 from the factory (except from the Honda since I have not ride one). I think it handles really well too. I do not like the carb design though. The push pull style is good but one bolt too hold the top on is ridiculous.

I think the ttr turns really good. I do think the frame could of been stronger. I dot feel it should of broke that soon on thy jump. Maybe it was just a freak accident.

I have only seen one full mod ttr 110 on here with zokes and a Pitster front end. It looked like a mini 450. Wish someone would build another one. I would but my frame is already welded together and I don't trust jumping it.

I'd love to make it a full mod but dont really have the resources and money for all the custom stuff that would have to be done. Maybe later on down the road if it holds up haha

On a good note, i got klx brake drums and all the goods on the way. Koby to the rescue once again.. haha

Not much progress today. Waiting on the brake hubs to arrive to really start with painting the hubs and building the wheels and all that.

A little more torn down, just did some rerouting of cables and stuff to stay occupied haha

im another that loved the ttr's! but the lack of parts once things break pretty much made me stop riding them. i had 3 before deciding ill never buy one again. the swingarm would break on each of them pretty frequently. by time id sell the bikes the swingarms had to weigh an extra 5 pounds. LOL. my last one i ended up breaking the frame in half right by the head tube. several other homies had them and always had swingarm failures. and only 1 other guy broke his in half. everybody in my area now rides the klx. i HATE riding stock klx's, so i figured it was time to learn a mod and just went with a BBR bike :)

You're scarin me! haha where would ur swingarms normally break? maybe i should just reinforce it while i already have it stripped down? but i dont think a BBR bike will be comin sometime soon here in the future for me :p maybe a 110L but they're impossible to find in my area.

I went and did a quick once over right away after reading ur comment and found this:

Its on the left side of the frame right along the weld that attaches the head tube and frame... paint chip or stress mark? what do u think?.. :(

Well, even with practically eveything for a klx it still doesnt work out.. the tab on the forks to keep the brake hub in place is too big on the ttr and the spacing is all different. I know i could make it all work with some fab work but don't feel like spending more time and money on these klx wheels.. All the klx parts are for sale - Hubs, brake hubs, spokes and rear rim.. I'm gonna be buying an actual ttr rear rim from bbr and maybe hd spokes from pro-wheel, unless anybody knows of better rims and spokes available for TTR110s? The pro-wheel spokes are the only ones I could find. The front sano rim should work out so ill be keeping that
