Re: ZB 50 tank tops?

The finished product beside an original ZB seat. If you check the top zb pic you can see the previous owner added quite a bit of extra foam. I had it removed.

Don't want to diss you, but that bike looks a little rough for all the money and effort I have heard you talk about : ) Or is it that "dirty Canadian look." Like when you scuff up new tennis shoes.

Lol, How many zb's do you have if you don't mind me asking? Did you remove the foam and cover the seat yourself? It looks good!

Rich....

I picked the bike up for $700 Canadian.

It just needed a little bit of TLC.

The motor runs amazing (after the carb was cleaned) the tank was full of gas and like new on the inside (few dents outside).

I had some old ZB parts around and some I had to gather, so now the bike has somewhat doubled in price (IMO).

Not sure what you mean by dirty Canadian look??

I paid $35 for the cover and $40 to have it installed and the foam removed.

If you look at the seat that came with the bike, well, pretty hurting IMO. I am happy with the end result.

Yes the bike was real rough when I got it. At first I thought to myself I got ripped off. The previous owner had a huge back sprocket and the bike won't go over 50 Km (25- 30 mph).

Front and back fender. Yes the prevoius owner installed a back fender and front fender mudflap.

the speedo was broken inside which made me wonder how many times it was over backwards.
