I am wondering if any one has put the parts off an 80's z50r on a new 90's z50r frame? How much work/ hard is it to do? Thank You.

I have not done this. I learned by reading Z's and dirtbkr188 posts over the years.Brettrown said:So everything should swap over pretty straight forward? Have you done this before?
He said 1980 so I though he was talking about the 1980's models which were Z50R's.nielspbr said:I am confused, Brettrown is asking about z50's and tmas is talking about z50r's?

Which do you have, the '80 and looking for a newer one for the swap, or vise versa?
