i jus got new rings put in about 10 rides ago so ill be choked if thats wut it is..im pretty shur its blue smoke meaning oil burning so kinda thinking its my valve seal..my carb hasnt been tuned the best lately eaither not shur if that could add problem..moter seems to get very hot also..overcame many minor problems with it lately and almost sold it but i dotn want to at all..so any input would be great

so theres no way that its the valve seal?..cause i jsu put new rings in it..if its rings ima prob jsu sell the thing ahah..never know when there gonan go again..i ride to hard for pitsters i guess..i need a 450

It is most likely your valve guide seals when you have good power and compression. I had a head that made great power and had pretty stiff compression, but the valve guide seals were trashed! It blew blue smoke and was wet wth oil inside the exhaust can.
If it is valve seals, you would have the most blue smoke when you blip the throttle just after alot of engine braking/decel.
Did you hone the cylinder for the new rings? Did you index the gaps separately? If so, and if it is the rings leaking, try a little Marvels Mystery Oil in the bike for a few rides and see what happens.

yea..while idleing when i give it a shot of gas thats when it smokes the most..when im rideing and look back i can barley see any smoke at all....and no i didnt do nothing with the cylinder dont know much about the install caus ei got a friend of a friend to do it but worked perfect after he fixed it
When you put new rings in a used cylinder you HAVE to have the cylinder honed to get the new rings to seat with the old cylinder. But yes valve seals going bad will cause it to smoke just like that...
