I am installing a Yoshimura TRS RS-2 full exhaust, K&N filter and CDI box on my stock CRF50.



What changes to my carb will I need to do?



I would love to hear from someone that has already done this, with this particular pipe.

ya i got the yoshi big bore pipe on my stock motor just got air filter and rev box with the pipe. I need to rejet mine too...where and what size jet can i use for my stock carb? not tryin to jack ur thread but im wondering the same thing

Ya, that is the exact set-up I am going to run so I too am looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say.



BTW where did you buy your Yosh pipe and did you get a good deal?

yup $100 had so little time on it the pipe end was still clean...was mint condition i was stoked...u? and i sold my stock pipe with a billet end(was free end) for $65 lol

Great deal on that pipe.



I don't have mine yet. The best price I have found so far is $249.



When you get around to rejetting your carb can you please let me know what worked out.



Also if ya hear of any good deals on the Yosh pipe let me know.

yup I ordered a +2 main jet so its a 62 now. and something about raising the needle but we c before I do that. I hope its ok i hate paying for a main jet I dont need. I had to buy a pack so I should have an extra then if you need to buy one...I ordered it today

I have heard mixed opinions of what has to be done. Some say rejetting while others say leave the stock jets and just increase the richness.

i have a tak hyper cdi yosh pipe on a stock motor. i never rejetted. i did have a brand new stock carb when i got the cdi and exhaust, so right when i put it on i had to mess with it to make it run right, i think the needle is in the middle and the air screw was near stock position. i do have a stock airbox so an open style air filter would prob make a difference too. im also runnin a little lean so maybe i should rejet.
