I am installing a Yoshimura TRS RS-2 full exhaust, K&N filter and CDI box on my stock CRF50.



What changes to my carb will I need to do?



I would love to hear from someone that has already done this, with this particular pipe.

ya i got the yoshi big bore pipe on my stock motor just got air filter and rev box with the pipe. I need to rejet mine too...where and what size jet can i use for my stock carb? not tryin to jack ur thread but im wondering the same thing
 
yup I ordered a +2 main jet so its a 62 now. and something about raising the needle but we c before I do that. I hope its ok i hate paying for a main jet I dont need. I had to buy a pack so I should have an extra then if you need to buy one...I ordered it today

I am looking forward to hearing your results.

I have heard mixed opinions of what has to be done. Some say rejetting while others say leave the stock jets and just increase the richness.

i have a tak hyper cdi yosh pipe on a stock motor. i never rejetted. i did have a brand new stock carb when i got the cdi and exhaust, so right when i put it on i had to mess with it to make it run right, i think the needle is in the middle and the air screw was near stock position. i do have a stock airbox so an open style air filter would prob make a difference too. im also runnin a little lean so maybe i should rejet.
