me and my buddy just put a tb 132 kit in his xr 100, fmf exhaust 24mm carb and a kitaco inner rotor. timing and everything is exact but the bike wont fire. we were kicking it for awhile then it started to kick hard and sounded like grinding. checked the irk and grooves were worn into the flywheel and it was hard to spin. wen we put it in is it suppose to rub against the anything?? i havnt done an irk before so not to sure wat to do an we bought it used so no directions also bike is also only getting spark wen kicked hard

hahahhahahah hmmm alright. but it seems like it only gets spark wen it rubs??? we tried it so many times lastnight and it didnt fire once. wen we kicked it it had spark but just wouldnt fire plug was wet to

When you installed the cam and timed it, did you have the cam lobes facing up or down? What jets are you running? Is it a new carburetor? Make sure all of the passage ways are absolutely clean in the carburetor.

my bike wouldnt start forever with the tm24. i had to mess with it for a while, it was way too rich.

mine needed the needle leaner and the air screw turned in, it actually wanted a bigger main according to plug chop.

Do you still have the stock jets in the carb? Make sure you have the two wires hooked up correctly to the coil. Also, the key on the crank is there, right?

ya stock jets. we tried the 24mm and the stock carb. and im pretty sure the key is there it has spark

Is the spark yellow or blue? You want a nice blue spark.

Hmm. So it is getting a good spark. Lets rule that out. Do you have a compression tester? Might want to check the compression, even if it is a brand new kit. Does it sound like it is even trying to start? What are you running for an air filter? And is the filter clean?

ya its got compression. it has a uni on it an its clean. i have no clue wat is wrong with it. valves are right timings right we checked them 3 or 4 times. bike dosnt even sound like it wants to start. we pulled it behind my buddys jeep an still nothin
