well, if oil is leaking from the header than you should pull the head off and see whats going on. if you keep trying to kick it over, you could possibly cause more harm than good. how does the compression feel when you kick it over?

 

remember that kickstarter??? ...well it gave out about 4 minutes ago.... compression still feels good

**** it im getting a new 150.

 

check to see if the header is loose. Mine was backfiring like crazy because of it, tightened it and all was well.

 

i have over 3000 street miles on my 146 jialing,and havent had a problem yet.make sure you have spark before you tear the topend down.your "oil" leak is probably gas washing the oil/carbon residue in the exhaust

 

Do you have spark? Sounds like a lunched exciter coil from the symptoms.

 

header is nice and tight

spark is good

i just dont want to deal with it id rather have a new 150 and start brand new by doing reliable mods first instead of BOW big bore and s$##!!

maybe put the trx90 clutch springs and who knows maybe the vm26 or even a REAL keihn 28 carb

 

the 150 is just as chinese as your 125

 

Buy a bog stock Lifan 150 for your commuter or a bog stock gpx160. Ain't going to win any races, but should be a reliable lump.

Maybe you sheered the flywheel key? Check the timing and see if it's suddenly way off.

 

timeing was fine

the key seems undamaged but the contacter for one of the pickups on the inner rotor kit was kinda chewed but has always ben like that.

so far its still calling fatcaats name

and dave i wouldnt like to get a chinese motor either but unless takagawa or any other performance part for a 50 is cheaper then im staying away from them i dont have taht kind of money to burn

 

i got sick of that shiit happening to my 140 so i got a honda crf 70 motor and im building it up it might me slower for now but at least it starts 1st kick and allways runs good

 

maybe a bent valve?

sucking air in around intake at head or before carb, just a thought

 

i had a similar prob once. had spark but wouldnt run after suddenly dying. my prob was a weak ground. just something to check

 

the grounds seem ok if fatcaat still wants it ,its gonna be his new motor

 

ima try tommorow to get a complete rebuild on the motor...ill see if theres hope
