Sanoman23,

Either you can't read your PM's, or you don't listen. Daytona doesn't make complete 4 speed gearboxes. They make a close ratio 4 speed conversion for the 4 speeds, and add Honda parts to it to make it into a complete 4 speed.

If Red Baron is out, then you aren't going to get the parts faster then 4-6 weeks. I can buy from Japan, but it's not quick and it's not cheap, as Daytona always has stuff on backorder, and then you have to take into consideration shipping time. When you order large lots of parts, you ship them sea freight and it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive from Japan, then customs and freight forwarding. I ordered a ton of stuff from Daytona 7 weeks ago and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Classic Honda has takegawa 4 speeds, same deal, but in stock. 4 speed close ratio gearbox, with Honda factory parts to make it into a 4 speed, for use with either the stock gearbox or the Takegawa clutches. Around $500 if I remember right.

I can also order complete Honda 12V 4 speeds by piecing them together individually new from Honda of Japan, but it will still take a month or two for the parts to arrive and you'd be looking at $450-500 for the gearbox. I can get used Honda 12V gearboxes for around $200-$250 with a month lead time.

If you want something immediately, I would recommend you contact David Blackwell at www.monkeybike.co.uk (VIA PHONE), and then grab your ankles with a tube of KY when he tells you the price.

RJP doesn't order parts from Japan. He orders parts from his long list of US suppliers and Aussie contacts. Japan - No.

You can also contact Luc Debondt from dax.be in Belgium to see if he has one in stock, but the price will be expensive with the conversion rates from Euro to USD.
