im gonna guess alot by the responce, sorry guys but ever since ive had this ive only had a +2 so i have never ridden a stocker.... built a custom scrape bar today so now i wont be such a pussy and pull er up all the way.........we'll see how that goes.
I have a friend with stock 50 motor and 2 inch custom frame extention and he couldnt wheelie it at all. We bored it out to 88cc and he cant keep the front end down. I would switch the swinger or bore it out
just kinda hard with the foot brake though, trying to balance, and in on knobby tires playing on the street, i think im gonn switch too motard tires....... and i workin on a i shock and some sdg forks from a guy on here, just need a manual clutch and im good to go i think???
If you want to wheelie worth a shart, you need to run the back brake. I'd suggest getting a rear hand brake or making one yourself. The swingarm shouldn't be a problem. There's a local guy killing it w/ a freaking 5-6in over mono swingarm. He's on knobbys as well.
The keys to a good wheelie are, rear brake control and finding a rear tire pressure that works good for you....ie lower the tire pressure.
As for the sdg forks, I wouldn't put them on anything for stunting. They are way heavy and will make you problems now even worse.
I'd say all your missing is the hand brake and a little practice.
I used to wheelie all the time on knobs, and just recently got a rear hand brake. Just keep those toes over the foot break. Start at a low rpm, that way if it starts to go back you can just let off and most of the time it will drop.
You could always make one, just find something with a cable that is long enough. Or go to the hard ware store and look around, I'm sure there is something in there that will help you extend the brake rod.
