raced both and my dirt bikes have slicks if tells you anything lol roadracing is a lot easier on your body, crashing anyway, the racing part is still physically demanding as in you need to be in shape. Im an out of shape smoker and can still hold my own in sprint racing, I used to do some endurance but wouldnt even think about a 45min stint on the track nowadays. Anyway I think asphalt is "safer"

It depends on the rider. If you suck both are dangerous. If you're good neither is dangerous.

 

It really depends. You have to be good at motard to do the races, if not you're going to get run over. The dudes that race motard "lean 'til the pegs scrape." But mx you have to hit some big jumps. I'll go motard..

Hitting dirt at 35-40 is safer than slapping concrete/a wall at 80-90.
