probably still carb issues....burbling/gurgling usually fuel.....if power falls flat and does not want to pull anymore can be too small of carb or cam profile or porting/exhausting restrictions.......

 

Fuel man...drop the main jet one and raise the needle one clip to compensate across the board. There is no rev limiter on these CDI's...but those motors should rev out cleanly to 10500 or so under load with max cruising at about 7000. You should also put a 17t sprocket on the front.

 

Yea sound like the main is to big.. Start going leaner..

 

Went from a 175 to 185 then 190 jet. Plug is still whiteish



Needle clip is 2 from bottom.



Still doing it.



Gonna try moving the needle to the bottom.

 

190 jet seems like it should be more for an engine making around 30hp you need to go way lower.



if the intake isnt sealed correctly you can have a huge jet and inconsistent plug readings

Maybe,but the plug is light tan. The right color.

 

your timing is off....

 

Hmm.......Gonna check that,but I don't think so.
