Trx90 bottom end crf50 top end???

Is this a possibility?
I thought I read with a 50 crank it would work but now can’t find it.

The plan (if this is possible) is to throw a Takegawa 124+ r top end kit (that I already have) on the 90 bottom end (e-start if it’ll turn over) and then throw the whole thing into either an lsr70 chassis or loko chassis (haven’t decided yet)
Trying to get the engine figured out first. I’ve had the takegawa stuff sitting on the shelf for a few years and figured this would be a good use for it if it worked.
If Anyone has any info on this I appreciate it, should be a fun project if it works out.

Try reaching out to member fatcaaat on here, he has done quite a bit of dabbling with the TRX90 engine in the past, and should be able to give you some insight. I do know that the TRX crank has a 49.5mm stroke, as opposed to the 41.4mm 50 crank, and a 47mm bore with a 69mm tall cylinder.

I'm pretty sure it will work just fine as long as you...
use the complete lower end
use a 69mm tall cylinder
and use the correct piston to mate the crank, cylinder, and head.

If your kit has a 69mm tall cylinder...I think it'll work.
I'm sure Fatcaaat will know all of the ins and outs.
