i like the dounlop geomax mx 51.

 

michelin starcrosses are good for about 2 rides lol.

 

i like the bridgestone 404 and 403 the kendas hold up too

 

+1 on the kendas. i had a set on my mod bike and it was the best set ive ran.

only reason we still run michelins is because we get them cheaper/easier

 

which kenda, because I've ran the Carlsbad and the tracmaster, and both wore out quick

 

i run starcross MH3's, there for more hardpacked but i just got them because i figured they'd last longer, and they've been holding up awesome, i had bridgestone's and they where pretty decent, i personally didn't like the kenda's, alot of the nobs on mine fell off but maybe i got a bad tire because everyone else seems to like them haha

 

the best proforming tires arnt gonna last the longest

 

I have been happy with the Dunlop geomax mx 51 for the rear.



I have tried a Kenda for the rear a couple of times but the knobs break off. Missing knobs are fun for flattraking corners but not fun in a race.



For the front I have been using a Maxxis Maxxcross and really like it. I have never had my front end wash out with this tire. The carcass seems to be a little bigger than the other tires that I have tried.

 

I run starcross on my stocker and they are tough like iron

 

thats the problem I had with the kendas were the knobs falling off

 

ok heres the big question. what kind of dirt? because here in ohio we run starcrosses and they work beautifully but ive tried others that didnt seem to hook up quiet as well. you want to pick the right tire for the right dirt hence the diversified opinions.

 

For sandy loam style dirt the Michelin Starcrosses (MS2)are the way to go.



For more intermediate style dirt the Dunlop MX51 is probably the tire to get.



For hard packed dirt, mainly blue groove stuff, the stock tires are fine and will last forever.



I run the Starcross on my rear (because I'm too cheap to buy tires at the moment) and it's amazing for the sand and hardly shows any wear. But once I start riding on more hard packed dirt it really starts to eat away at the tire and shredding the knobs.

Man I live some Michelin starcross...I hate how short lived they are...Cheng shins last forever though!

i ride my 110 everywhere i have had it in cn. fl. and i live in indiana an i love the mx51 best buy ever

 

kenda are defiantly the best far as performance but they seemed to shred pretty quick for me. it might just be the tracks i ride though.
