Okay so i replaced the piston rings and gaskets in my x4r and went to start it and it wont start then realized it wasnt timed my ? is how do u time the piston and stuff to to make it start need help fast trying to go ride tomaro.

Put the crank timing mark on TDC and line up the dot on the cam gear with the notch in the head.



ALWAYS spin the crank 2 revolutions and check to make sure the marks are still lined up before putting it all back together.

stupid question here cuz i am going t this with no manual or nothing on how these motors come apart, but where do you see the crank mark to verify TDC? I have the cover off of the stator side and also the cam sprocket cover so I can see the cam sprocket marks but not the crank. Anyone?
