I am uncertain as to why those junk rims/tires/hubs even came into the picture when the ones on the bike look damn near brand new. What gives? And why exactly are you even starting with a complete bike when you are not using it LOL? You will almost be able to sell a complete runner after the build hahahah.

 

i know, i learned my lesson with the crf i built, the only thing left was frame, gas tank, and fork housing. i am trying to keep the z untouched, may need the frame tho, for a short time.

The Vegas supercross is that same weekend. You have to buy the tickets months in advance for it. Vegas supercross always sells out.

got the KLX forks drilled before work, axle fits fine in the stock wheels, I need to use some elbow grease and tons of sand paper on the lowers...previous owners had a good time with these forks. Looks like they had a fight with Edward Scissor Hands and it was a draw.

decided to make a little video project about this journey, so in the AM, the dust comes off the gopro.

getting everything ready for powder coat, engine rebuild and fork rebuild in the AM!

If you dont mind me asking, what video software do you use? Im new to the gopro world and would like to make a video with mine.

 

I use mac book pro with i movie 09, works decent, simple to use. Think I have made about 5 vids with it so far

 

SOB! I need to invest into a mic for the gopro, lesson learned.
