Who said anything about racing. Its a pitbike because it was used in the pits. If it were used in a race it would be considered a race bike. Its not rocket science or maybe it is.

Well for those of you that dont think the CRF150R isn't a pitbike, I'm here to prove you all wrong. Well I was in DAYTONA beach this weekend at the DAYTONA speedway pits, watching some racing. Get this, I took my 150R and rode it everywhere and thats including the pits. Tell me its not a pit bike now. I used it to carry tires,parts going to the bathroom ect.

If it was a true pit bike like the klx 110s and crf 50s, then why dont people just ride cr 85s? Its the same thing, just with a four-stroke motor. Does it make it a pit bike because it is a four stroke? True it is a "pit bike" meaning, a bike to ride around on in the pits, and do random bs on at a race like you did. Its not a real pit bike or minibike I should say. Nice use of words though...PIT BIKE.

Sure if it were used in the pits. Hell even a 450 could be a pitbike if it were used in the pits for gafuring.

We used 4 wheelers at the micro sprint races as "pit bikes" used to move tires, parts and go to the bathroom etc.

 

You could probably carry more parts on this pit bike than you could a 50 or a 110 and get them there a little bit faster.

 

I'd rather start some poop at this moment so deal with it.

If you non believers want to get technical i could give you a free history lesson. Back in the 50's dirtbikes were used in the pits at the local drag strips to scoot around on for parts,bathroom breaks,food ect. Back then the bikes were known as pitbikes. You all get an F for not knowing that. Who is the GOD that gets to idenify the correct term as it is called PITBIKE.

Your mistaken on my feelings towards this bikes issues on this site KTMraca05, I'm just using it as an example in order to keep the torch lit on everyone arguing about it. I own it/ride it and the only thing i call it is my bike. I have nothing to get over but a 120ft triple.

 

You dont need our approval it's just dumb when people keep posting excuses for why it's a pitbike.
