I am about to purchase the TB stroker kit for my bike but I have never heard of TB before and notice that I see it alot on these boards although I am knew here. I read the thread of the TB108 guy having problems with it but wanted to see what people think and how good the quality is. All my friends run only takagawa stuff but the TB stuff looks like the right price for me :)

Please let me know your experiences on the stuff, if you had any problems with it and what kinda riding on do on it. I push my stuff hard track and WFO desert riding so I don't need to throw a rob and kill my whole engine.

Thanks,

Brent

TB stuff is great quality. Most of the stuff is the same as Kitaco, even the cylinders are pulled from the same batch as Kitaco and labeled with TB for them. The prices are lower because Mike from TB does not have a distributor network, so he doesnt have the additional markup.

Do it.

ive built many of the TB motors and they all perform the same if not better than their competition....

they definitly have the most bang for the buck

there is better out there but it has a hefty price tag with it.....

the tb's last a long time and are our number 1 selling brand of bore kit.

you wont be dissapointed!

Matt

If there are the failure rate is so small that you never hear of it, and usually its install error. Definetly great kits, get it, I run the 117 kit and run it hard with no problems.

A $hitload of people run t.b. stuff. I just installed the 117 stroker. I cant tell you about how it runs cause Im still hooking up an oil cooler. The only problem I've heard of so far is the one You speak of with that ONE guys 108 kit.

EXCELLENT BANG FOR YOURE BUCK!!!

cool this makes me feel better since I just dropped another 600 bucks on the bike. I have spent more on this little bike than any of my big bikes, hopefully it will be fully done soon and not turn into a long term money pit, hehe. I have been getting most of my stuff at around 50% off and have still dropped almost $4000 into it and I still see more stuff coming, hehe.
