Just bought a TaoTao DB17 already put a 26mm Mikuni carb and a xpro performance full exhaust. It runs great, my boy has the same bike stock n he can’t keep up with me. Question I have is, is a CDI worth the risk cuz I’ve had people tell me it takes out the rev limiter n you can muff up your engine. Any suggestions??? Thanks dudes

Like Tmas said some work some don’t I’ve tried some over the years with mixed results with a slight increase of “power” for the price of them there’s no harm in Trying them out
