There are a lot of threads on this from the past but on big bikes i notice a difference. In my 110s it just smells good.

 

I run it in my 70 a lot but most time I do 1/2 and 1/2 between it and 93

 

Yeah I run 110 octane in my 110. When I run 91 in it it Boggs really bad in 1st and 2nd. As so as I put 110 in it the bogging went away and has more power.

 

I run it to hopefully blow mine up

Unless you have the compression needed for race fuel don't bother.

X2, the smell of race fuel alone really gets my adrenaline going even if I'm spectating. Good call lol..

 

Smell usely get me light headed no real adrenalin lol

I don't other weekend me and my buddy seeing who can last the longest doing circle wheeles around those yellow poles that sit about 3 feet away from the wall got light headed after awhile dam if I didn't go lil wide and hit straight into that wall

 

depends on your compression and what gas you run.. in most cases people who run race gas are LOOSING power... I run it in my Mod and it is night and day difference. but im also paying $30 a gallon.

 

$30 for a f*#%ing gallon. Sounds to me like ur getting screwed

 

Your gas really doesn't smell that bad koby, it's very distinct . I smelled that shit all the way up in the stands in Vegas

 

I pay about $4.25 a gallon for my race fuel!! Theres a few gas station around my area called chevrons, they offer 91octane and I have never had a problem with bikes sitting to long or any fuel related or performance related problem with that gas. Lol... Only suggestion I have don't run anything lower than 91 in any small engine application. If you don't have the extra 10cents difference between 87-91 gas wait till you get the extra 10cents lol..

Thanks for all the input! I drained my 91 octane in my CRF110 tonight and replaced it with 110 race fuel. The smell is definitely AMAZING!! It seems like it may have made it run a little rich tho, I may need to re jet it. It starts to cut out on the top end. There are 3 reasons I asked this question, 1. Obviously performance 2. The smell, and 3. My buddy is sponsored by a race fuel and gets it 50% off. $5.00 a gallon.

 

Race gas will lean you out not richen

 

You don't need race gas in a stock 110, like stated by someone earlier you'd actually hurt your performance doing it. If you have a high comp bbk then maybe run 50/50 but you need a serious engine to require race fuel
