After looking around I decided the Pitsterpro 140cc would be a good swap for what I needed for right now. I still have some other parts I need before its good to go. Here are some pics of the little project so far.

I should have the rest of the stuff needed for the build by this week. Only thing left to buy is new set of foot peg mounts and foot pegs that clear the new motor. I'll definitely have some more pics and vids up when its all complete!!

I have ridden a almost completely stock crf50 with a lipan 140 swap and it didn't get to crazy, this should be about the same. The longer swinger will definitely keep the front end down a little plus I have it geared a little in the rear for less torque... we'll see how she handles!

Finally finished the 140 swap and figured I'd post of few updated pictures. I'll post some videos once it warms back up... it has been snowing the past few days.

This swap makes a HUGE difference!! The 82 bore kit was nice and had a lot more power than the stock setup however this monster tops it! Front comes up with just a flick of the wrist in 1st, 2nd comes up with a very very slight tug on the bars and roll on the throttle and 3rd comes up easily with the slip of the clutch! I haven't had a friend drive next to me yet to see what the top speed is, but I would guess easily 55 mph!!

Next thing is to get it registered in my name... the Cop didn't like trying to catch a little 50 but he let me go with a warning... haha!

Yep, There are 2 yellow outputs! I'll have to check your site for some light kits... anything with just a head light, brake light and brake switch w/ regulator?

are these motors stunt friendly i.e.-won't have oil starvation issues on a full blown stunt fiddy? I'm torn between either doing this same mod to my crf 50 and/or installing an 88cc kit....quick question....will an fmf exhaust for a crf 50 bolt right up to the pitster motor?

Not sure on the oil starvation, I have pulled tons of wheelies on the new motor but I guess not enough to give an accurate description of this motor's limitations. That might be a question for the manufacturer, maybe find out what degree or rotation is permitted still allowing the engine to stay lubricated inside.

There are tons of people with their experiences on different engine setups, I had the 82 BBR bore on this before and while it was pretty fast and easily stuntable, I wanted more. In my own experience, the 140cc is in no comparison to the 82 kit. Its almost scary how easily it comes up, even when just hauling ass through the gears the front will pop up a little when shifting into 2nd and 3rd under hard acceleration.

I have an aftermarket exhaust, not the fmf but the mounting points should be the same since they were both built for the CRF50. The new motor brought the exhaust port forward about 1/2 an inch. I had to drill a new hole in the original mounting tab, other than that it clears everything perfectly!

Hope this helps,

The setup looks pretty good! You get everything needed for the most part. I would definitely get an air filter to fit the bigger carb and ask when you order the motor if the stock pegs will fit, mine didn't and had to buy an aftermarket setup. That way when you get your motor you can bolt everything up and don't have as much down time! The Tank spacer kit recommended is a good idea too, I should have ordered one. It is still possible to install without it but it would give more clearance for the throttle cable going into the carb. The new carb and cable don't have a nice 90 degree bend before going into the carb.
