me and my mate have the same x4r's and his rev from bottom to top real quick and free where mine revs like my gpx125 engine if you get my drift.My bike is a great 150 and it goes real well but after riding my mates same bike i want mine to be just like his.Anyone know why mine doesnt rev quick and high? Would like so help please.

oh ok,but they are the same model and year bike,we got them at the same time,how do i tell the differnce of what you say,the coil and flywheel look the same to me
take the ignition cover off and look. and if his is a 125, and urs a 150, urs will naturally rev up slower cause of longer stroke
the bikes are both yx150's. but i said that my yx 150 revs like my other bike which is a 125.My mates 150 rev real fasr and his looks the same under the ignition cover.
plug has a good coffee colour and it runs really fine,have riden the bike for a good year now and didnt realize they were different until i rode my mates for the first time
no they wont be because he isnt moving and he says it is reving up slower.

its not a carby issue,we both put a 22mm mikuni on our bikes with same jets,even switched carbs and my bike still acts the same as it did before.Really confusing isnt it.When he runs my carb his bike revs really quick still
all engines are not created equal...could be a tight spot around the cylinder and case causing it to slow the piston down......The first few times you changed the oil..was there alot of debris on the magnet?
yea there was,still think theres something not right,just say his revs at 12000 mine is about 9500
but it still goes well,most of the time i kick him anyways coz he spins to much where mine digs

Have you checked the valve adjustment, ignition timing and advance on your bike?
Swap coil with your buddy's bike? Air leak on the intake? Obstruction in your exhaust?
