ive been thinking of getting a pair of pit bike boots to race in. been looking at the thor 50/50 but some reviews are saying not that good. just like to have some input on other boots and which ones are better

Ive had both the thor 50/50 boots and the tech 2 boots. The tech 2s are very nice i like them a lot. They offer more support and protection then the 50/50s. The thors dont last as long either!! The tech 2s are $169 and the thors are $109... I think the alpinestars are worth every penny!! As far as big bike boots go, the sidi crossfire srs would be good for pitbike riding. They have a pretty low profile design and have a dual hinge system that allows for a lot of flexibility. The sidi boots are sweet!

i have tech 2s and they are very nice, i use to ride with mx boots on my full mod 50 in the UK bbr frame and stratos forks it sat alot taller than a stocker, at first it was hard to shift but it only takes a few rides to get use to mx boots thats if your use to riding mx,

im 6ft4 and now ride a smaller fast50s bike kinda in between a full stock and full mod and i feel that the tech 2s are perfect

theres also the newer fox boots that i have seen but never tried

I have the 50/50 boots and they are super comfortable but dont have much padding on the ankle area. Whacked the inside of my ankle on the swingarm when my bike started gettin crazy, didnt wreck but it hurt for days. Not saying that it will happen to you, but I would like to try the Tech 2s next just to never have to feel that again.

i like to wear shorts when riding the 50 and thats the only down side to mini bike boots is theres no shin protection and i have some gnarly sharp foot pegs on my 50 and took a nice deep flap of meat off my shin and i didnt crash that was just a few laps around my back yard track!

id like to get some evs web braces but there really expensive
