I want to put a new oil cooler on my mod 110 and I wanna get some input on some different ones before I buy. I would love to get a set of the dual coolers off an LXR and mount em up on it, but idk how hard that would be.

I was looking at the TB and BrandX's a while back and was going to get a BrandX because it wasnt made with the little fins that bend and get smushed easily, but I cant find them on eBay. I think BXM quit making them maybe ?. also looked at the Staggs right side mount cooler. heard some good stuff about it when it was released.. I bought a big box of random parts a while back from a member on here and in that box was an Asian Concepts piece that goes between the oil fiter cap and the cases and has the fittings for a oil cooler.. would like to use it if possible

Post up what you have and how you like it please. and if anyone has the LXR coolers on a klx, PLEAASEE post pics and any info!!

Im Doing a Klx /lxr conversion , i am also wondering how would you mount up the dual coolers to a klx 110 engine ?

Dont mean to jack.

oh dude youre good. lol

i was wondering the same thing.. i know how i would run the line from one cooler to the other (through the square hole in the frame..) but i think you can remove the oil dripper pipe thingy that runs from the case to the right side of the head and use those fittings..

I could actually put three oil coolers on mine if I really wanted to.

I have a Two Brothers run off the filter adapter now. I could add the right side SGR and run it in place of the existing head-to-lower line. And then add another one, run off of my Takegawa clutch cover, for just the oil in the bottom end. The singe Two Brothers works great for me, I got lucky and got a deal on it here on PM.

You could always daisy-chain them together too, out of one and into the next. You could run as many as you can find space to put them. Is more than one really necessary? Unless it's a minimotard running wide open all the time on a roadcoarse, I don't really see the need. It would look cool though...

Lol... The last of the oil-cooled GSX-R' Superbike racers (early 90's) would have as many as 5-6 coolers all over the bike, even a curved one above the rear hugger fender, under the seat. They'd still lose close to 20HP by the end of a hot race, from excess heat.

i got the TB kit a few weeks ago and havnt been able to try it out yet because the bike still doesnt have a carb lol.

but from the looks of it i think its a sweet setup, the only downer is that i couldnt use my Asia Works piece because the bolts were bigger diameter than the oil dripper bolts, so they wont fit the TB hose ends(or fittings, whatever you call them).. :(

so i think im going to run it in place of the dripper like TB intended and maybe later get different hoses made to work with that piece..
