Ok, I'd like to try it just this month and see how it goes. Seeing as how a bunch of nasty 8" Z50s are being built for the upcoming Vegas race, here's a great opportunity to have a ZOTM. This will be for 8" wheel Z50 bikes ONLY...Dirt or street.....POST EM UP.....First 10 bikes are in.

Good luck.

1984 Just picked up a BBR Superpro 88 kit and Heavy duty for springs for it today. Going to order tires next week. Going to see if a XR75 swing arm makes it longer than the 40" wheel base. Work in progress. Give a month guys. LOL Still a stocker for a week or so.

1992 z50 i grabbed for 300 bucks, used crf50 monster graphics and 4th gears from blown trannys for the bar spacers. I have since this photo put, snow hogs on it and the rims are black ill add them in a lil bit. Anyone know why its blue i havent seen any others blue z 50s, unless who had it before me just swapped the plastic.

This is at marshfield a few years back, i used the speaker rings that light up to base, hooked up to a RC car battery under glow WOO!!.

Here's my work in progress:

1972 Honda Z50 with TB 88cc kit, 20 mm carb & race head

TB performance exhaust

Takegawa billet oil cooler (not shown)

+1 forks and HD springs

280mm CHP rear shocks

Dipstick oil thermometer (not shown)

Custom cut rear fender

Custom paint and graphics

Still to come: HD clutch (probably go manual), Heidenau K75's, oil catch can & vent kit, little chrome bits as I find them.

I didn't get a chance to take more pics this weekend. I will add them next week. I am adding these 2 pics though. Pay close attention to the rear fender, it will cut you if you don't. I also am adding a "before" picture for perspective on how far this project has come. Thanks to who ever has voted for me.

Makotosun, that last shot of your son standing on the bike may be my favorite picture of a mini ever. Everything in that shot from subject to background works perfectly. I'm sure that photo will be something you and your son will enjoy for a very long time to come.

I have it framed hanging on the wall where I can look at it all the time. It is my favorite pic of him! :D

Brad that is a nice little scoot! What are you going to do with the front brake? I just did one for a guy using a internal clutch. that works the same as your throttle. It wasnt to hard to get it to work as it has a heavy spring set up to handle the clutch cable.

Very clean bike I would run it all except the grips.

CrawlerD's got my vote, and it was a tough call because all the bikes are pretty cool and Makotosun's slick kidbike is so well done and well conceived. But CrawlerD's stocker looks nice but lived-in, which is what I can relate to, so...

Nice work, though, everybody.
