It all depends. I have turned faster lap times on a 143 over a 160. It all depends on what tracks you ride. There are some tracks were having a 160 is just to much and you can't Keep the tire hooking up. If you run a lot of big wide open motocross type tracks then the 160 would be the best in my opinion.

Or even easier middle route, make it a 155. Get the TB 143 V2 kit, and add the stroker crank.

Thats how I built my bike and its AWESOME, gobs of tourqe, and hauls lots of mail lol.

I'd say a 143. The 160 and 143 don't feel that much differenty, just the 160 has torque. But I could probably turn the same lap times on a 143 as my 160, and you don't have to bore the cases with a 143...

I think the extra torque of the 155 as I suggested is a big difference, it is so incredibly much easier to hit a jump or something that may be just outta corner with the increased torque it provides. Also, if he went with the 155, he also doesnt have to bore cases, all just bolt together.

Plus, if someone tries to argue that he wont have to split cases with just a 143, really he should be doing it anyways, to install a forged or billet Output shaft, as we all know that it will be highly likely it will break otherwise, so if the motors apart anyways to do that, might as well put a stroker in.
