good fab work,, only thing is you will see that the small 65 plastics will have your rear tire sticking out way too far behind the fender,, a smaller frame/swingarm would have been more proportioned.

I took alot of measurments from the KTM65 and gave it alot of thought,,, but came to the conclusion that on the larger frames that I like to run,, it was just too small.

Nice fab work though.

i gues you mis calculated on that one

i took measurments from the KTM65 and my rear axle is almost exactly the same in fender / axle distance like a real sx 65

this looks now a bit strange because the frame is hanging face down

and if you want to now exact mine is 5mm less over the axle like the origenal sx 65

next week will come a friend of mine to fit wheels and recomplete my measerments buth so far so good i think

if its needed i wil redo the rear fender part in carbon en make it a inch longer or something to be good buth if you look to other midsize bikes almost every midsize has that ( problem ) rear tire versus rear fender

and when instald the suspension will come down so the distance is going to change offcourse so i try not to panik to much and hope everything works out just fine

thanks for the comments tho

greetz

cool,, cool,,

You will notice that once the rear is on the ground and the sag from the suspension is present, it will make the bike even seem longer.

The KTM 65 has a wheelbase of 44.8inches,, the LXR 14/17 with the wheel in the middle of the axle adjustment is 50.5 inches.

The KTM 65 rear axle is in line with the rear edge of the seat.

It must be the angle yours is sitting then?

I guess what he is trying to say is ,, pro circuit does not make forks or shocks,, they custom rework others components.

Cool ride! Certain the KLX motor will clear the front tire?
Yes,,, how many KLX engined LXRs are there?,, at least 25 as there have been that many of the KLX motormount coversions sold.

14/17 and 09.5 /12 will clear without issue, He could even run the tak 4 valve in his 14/17 .

Good to know there's room, now.

Not every body has Brach's sense of humor:roll:

Building his Tak 4V currently:D
There has been enough room for over a year and a half for the KLX engines to clear,,

There is even enough room for the Tak headed crf150 66.7mm pistoned engine I am inserting into one.

also doing a few 125cc Tak topend engines for ATV racers.
