I put a 273mm Elka on mine for max height, it was from a 90cc mini quad. I have the KX forks as far down in the triple tree as possible, the bikes it's much higher now with much better suspension. This is on a 2004 KLX 110, stock swinger.

It had enough room for 2mm more for sure, especially if you swap the swing arm bearings to Pivot works for some more swingarm drop down length

 

Gruvey do you think there would be room for a 275mm klx110L dnm? Not that I don't like what you did I just don't think an elka is in my price range.

 

I would assume it would fit but can't confirm. I have a 110L and a 110 at home, I could try to put the L shock on the non L but won't be able to until tomorrow.
I did have a DNM on my L once & it was slightly shorter than the stock L shock.

Is the stock L shock heavy enough for a 250Lb adult also?

 

No. Mine started out stiff but didn't take long for blowout and I am 170lbs. I had a DNM & it was crazy stiff, would hold you up fine

 

The dmn 275mm shock fit just fine

 

Sweet that's probably the longest safe shock I can use wanted to use a crf110 dnm but doesn't sound like anyone has tried it. Anyone got one for sale? I'd like to use all of my 60 length

If you're looking for a budget shock I don't think you can beat this price at $158. I ran one for a little while, it's pretty stiff but was an improvement over stock L shock.

Yeah that won't work. My heavy butt puts the stock one to the bump stop just cruising streets and hitting cracks in the road

Thanks buddy. Purchased a klx110L 350 dnm shock. Is about perfect! I don't believe a klx110L stock will fit as it's actually longer than the 110L dnm. For all those interested the 110L dnm DOES fit a bone stock 110 rear and makes 60 forks work perfect.
