Hello all, I am a new member here......VERY active and well known on the Yamaha TW200 forum.
I came here because, I have a couple (2) Kick Starter Kits....NEW...in the boxes... for the Yamaha TTR-50.
In the process of trying...very hard...to obtain as many Kick Starter Kits for the XT225, which also fits the TW200....I have just bought two kits...that apparently fit the TTR50.
From all my research, these are the last two complete Kick Starter Kits....in North America. believe me, the searching has been done, and thorough.
The Kick Starter kits are....Yamaha part # GYT-1P607-00-00
The kits are on their way to me right this minute. I bought them from a dealer in Orlando, Florida...yesterday....in the "hopes" that once I get them in my hands, I can see "IF" these kits have any common parts, or...are usable...for the TW200. Yes, I have my doubts...but we on the TW200 forum are desperate for Kick Starter Kits. My bikes have them, because I bought the kits before they went obsolete. But I care enough to try to help my fellow TW200 riders.
So, I ordered these two complete...still in the sealed boxes...Kick Starter Kits.
Once they arrive, I will open one box, inspect the parts, and will know in a moment if the parts will work on a TW200, or not.
"IF" the parts will not work on a TW200.....then I am left with two complete Kick Starter Kits for the Yamaha TTR50.
I am hoping that someone on your forum might have a need for these...at a decent price.
As we know, these kits have a suggested retail price from Yamaha of $ 385.95. I did get a discount from the dealer in Florida, but...with shipping, my total costs are $ 600.00, and that is for the TWO complete kits.
I would love to pass these kits on to your forum members...if they have a need for them.....for what I have in to them.
Each kit......GYT-1P607-00-00....for $ 300.00...and that includes shipping to wherever I need to ship it to. I will absorb the shipping costs, just trying to help other riders out.
