Where did u score that pipe from? My brother is building a hardtail z50 and we have been mulling over the same things as you!

 

Its an Ebay exhaust - nice piece - but not sure what to do about the kicker yet - Might have to get the Kitcao one.

I asked the seller and they assured me it would fit no problem....
Guess they were wrong.

 

That Kitaco model is VERY nice. I have one as well and its worth every penny.

My Taky also is great, but thats 200...

I have a brand new one from a honda nice that should clear. Can you give us measurements of how far it needs to sweep? I may actually have a cheap offset version that will work too.

 

its 4.5 " from the swinger to the end of the pipe.

Which Honda kicker do you think will work? From what bike?

 

Funny, I bought that same exhaust for my 69. I bought one from PCCmotor.com real cheap... should work fine. I have one on an 82 with fat low exhaust that works.

This style clears that exhaust,I had one one off those exhausts on my monkey.
Unfortunately this company only supply this one in 16mm shaft size
