I've used it on apps for automotive. Holds up fairly well, scuffing a black or cast surface with a scotchbrite pad before spraying creates a marbelized look. If you don't scuff it to a shine or use their primer that is.

 

Love to see some better pics when you get a chance. Curious to see how well it matches. Looks good from here. Especially for the money

 

Metalcast spray paint color of ur choice 7.00 from autozone. It's made for a chrome like surface which my stock klx wheels were. If it's alloy color u have to buy primer. Took fine sand paper an went to town then used alcohol to clean them off. Taped off the tire an around the spokes and started to paint. I did it blk on my old 250f an held ip good. I'll add some more pics tonight when I get off.

I've used this stuff on lots of misc. parts on my bike, it honestly looks anodized. Have been afraid to do the wheels, but this looks great, let us know how it holds up!

Yes I did it with the wheel fully assembled with the tire on. Just go buy a 12 pack an be creative. I just taped off everything. And yes later I will post up alot more pics.



Twobros-oneten... How did this stuff hold up on other parts of your bike? Cause I was planning on doing my swingarm and fork tubes a blk color.



And I dunno how it will hold up on the motor but on the wheels it has held up awesome so far. If u do the motor make sure an buy the metal cast primer for ur first coat

cool. ive been thinkin bout painting one of my wheels. and then ima paint my new build all white i think.

 

MI'M eventually gonnd do my frame but I am going to powder oat that cause if for some odd reason the spray paint doesn't hold up on the frame.. Then I don't wanna take it apart again to fix the paint. BTW pics will be up soon of closer pics an stuff for those of u who wanted them. Thanks

i used the same exact color for my brothers razor scooter and it turned on great!

thanks! yeah i thought so too.. i went riding again today so i have about 5 hard rides on them and 2 washes and its held up great so far.

 

I sprayed mine red last night. They look great. I did a test on a old rim first and the only way I could get the paint off was to use sand paper to scuff it. Seems to be some good stuff
