Throw some bars on it and rip until tuning software comes out. I seen a couple guys at the track with pipes on the new fi bikes and they were running like complete a$$. If you cant find any cables you can run the Tusk bar risers for now and most the time you can get away with stock cables since you're not adding any width.

Check out CJR Performance for all your tuning needs.

What you should do first is remove the backfire screen from the intake housing.
While you're in there ring out, clean, and re-oil the intake filter.
Then change your oil. Yes, it's brand new, but get that first cycle out of there.

For throttle cables you'll need to get the CRF125 cables, if you're doing bigger bars, or the extended ones from BBR.
An important thing to note is that you'll need a new throttle tube, unless you don't want full size grips, when going to bigger bars.

Intake filter as in air cleaner? Or is there a screen at the entry of the throttle body?

I didn’t know 125 cables would work. I’m assuming stock length ones will be long enough for big bars? Thanks!

Air filter housing*
It’s been some long days and nights with work lately haha

Black box behind the fender.
Unscrew the 4 8mm bolts.
Take out air filter.
Remove the wire screen.
Put air filter back (make sure it’s cleaned and properly oiled).
Attach cover and bolts.

if that still doesn’t make sense, go to the cjr website.
As for cables, you can flip the throttle upside down, but if you keep it upright the cables will be too taught, especially when the bars are turned.
the 125 cables are supposed to work just fine, or go to one of the minis sites snd buy the longer cables for $40.

I did the air cleaner screen removal and spark arrestor removal. No real gain. After looking at the dyno charts on CJR I have decided to leave the bike alone. For power gains to make 1.50 hp more it costs around $1,500 that’s definitely not worth it! Lol just need to order up a skid plate, and foot peg cradle and ride it!
