Zero without gaskets. Common base is .020, head gaskets from .010 to .080. Aim for .040 total.

 

What would be my min clearance with the clay? I'll probably go with the 47mm one.

 

For clearance, I usually mock it up without rings, head or base gaskets and roll it over. If nothing hits, clay it up and find the tightest spot. Mill something until it almost hits. Gaskets will provide the clearance.

Can you explain the clearancing part a little bit? Have a direct link to the CT70 piston you mentioned so I don't screw it up? I'll double check it anyways. How much compression would I wind up with? Lots of questions huh but I am catching on! Thanks Anthony.

 

Cool & correct! The Powroll would require decking the jug, but a CT70 type would slip right in. May need a little clearancing but will give a "legal" high compression option for $23. An oversize or two will up the cc a bit too.



54 set up I posted will give a WAY high comp 114 for $110

 

Center of piston pin to top of piston is 19.5mm. It's 13mm from top edge of pin bore to top edge of piston plus the 6.5mm (half the diameter of the 13mm pin bore) = 19.5mm correct?

Case bore measures 56mm I think, could be 55.5mm hard to tell .

The pic of the bottom of my stock Jaling 86cc cylinder and piston. My measurements could be a little off but their real close. I don't have a metric caliper so I have to measure my standard caliper's measurements with my metric steel rule. Thanks

7mm thick, and 53.5mm diameter. I'm guessing 1.1mm wall thickness is a no go. Just trying to figure out my best options for getting a HC set up for this engine. What are my options cause I was told the Powroll piston is out due to pin location. Thanks

Def not high compression the dome is a perfect flat surface. if it was crowned or raised in the center then it might be high compression
