i would not do it because kill switches go bad from normal wear and tear, so you will eventualy have to replace it. If u use ur key wont it wear out the ignition switch faster? I'd think a kill switch would be cheaper to replace. Just my thoughts is all....

im sure it will be fine... these bikes are turned o and off and have never heard of those parts having a problem from using it too much.. remember these are kids bikes... as in, you cant ride if the parents have the key.. how often dows it get turned on and off! lots!

also i have a related question. Im a newb in the offroad stuff so bear with me, i just bought a 50 that has no kill switch and no key, so what do i do? All i could think was the old owner mustve choked her out or pulled the spark plug wire off.... Sorry if its not cool to double post here....

...i just use my key to kill it as do alot of people, ive never herd nething about the kill switch or ignition switch wearing out and either way if one was to, both are dirt cheap to replace... and samhain, id say buy an ignition and set it up, urs is just hard wired and they prob did just pull the plug or let it stall out

FYI - The old cheap kill switches that came with the BBR bar kits fell apart internally , I had that happen to me . ;)

Kitaco makes a billet type switch but as far as I know it only comes with the inner rotor kit .
