Hey..

I got a 26mm MOLKT carb off ebay to try on my scoot. Unfortunately, it didn't come with jets.

It looks like there should be a bushing or an insert between the emulsifier tube and the main jet.

Could someone tell me if there is indeed 'something' that goes between the main jet and the aluminum carb body?

Does anyone have a spare?

Anyone have one of these carbs they've thrown at the cat in favor of a VM that they would throw at me?

Thanks,

Mark

the Molkt carb from my yx 160 has a brass bushing between the carb body and the main jet. I can talk to the guys from pitster tomorrow at vegas to see if they have any. If they do, I will post it up and let you know.

Hey kalamamark is that the one you got from me?

If so it needs the needle jet which you screw the main jet into as mentioned in the auction. I did say it included the main and pilot jets though but I forget if I put them in the package. If you didn't get the main let me know and i will ship it to you. You will still need the needle jet though.

Hitaburmedusty...

Yessir...it's the one I got from ya.

I bought jets local...I got a pilot and a main that I 'ASSumed' fit in the brass bushing from the thread I read, but I still need the bushing it screws into.

Any help/info/vendor tips on who might have one are deeply appreciated. I'm running the stock GPX124 carb right now, with jetting dialed in pretty good...I'm curious as to how it will work with some extra breathing...but not $150 VM26 curious...

Thanks!!

I'll ask around but sounds like someone should be able to locate that part, like mvkd4 sounded like he might be your best bet. I'd keep on someone like him that has a connection to the vendors and maybe they will find it for you. You might also call pitster up as their yx engines come with those carbs.

Good luck mark.

I'm still looking for this...I've been buried on the weekends and weekdays, and haven't had a chance to call Pitster yet. I just thought I'd bring this TTT in case someone found one of them little brass doo-dads.

Thanks,

Mark
