I just bought this pipe on ebay. Guy says it's Daishin but I don't think that is what the red logo is. Anyone recognize the logo?

It is all one piece and aluminum!

After some research it does appear to be a Daishin exhaust. Here's a photo of a tail pipe:

Good question! I Googled "Daishin exhaust" or "Daishin DIC Exhaust" and found it somewhere on a forum. I also found this below where a guy is advertising his exhaust as Daishin with the same logo that is on yours.

Thanks for the legwork! The logo is embossed in that aluminum can so I guess I had better be proud of Daishin .

Take a picture of the rear of the exhaust so I can see the baffle in the rear. Those pipes have not been made for years Unless someone is remaking them. I'll be able to tell by the baffle and the welds on the end of the can.

No real baffle to speak of. That and the fact that it is all aluminum leads me to believe it will be pretty loud.

The seller said it was new old stock that had been lying around for years and had never been mounted on a bike. All in all it is pretty well made. I doubt anyone would ant to attempt this kind of aluminum work today, but who knows.....

You are right about the weight! The clamp thingy needs longer studs to get through it though....

I can find a ton of other Daishin pipes, but nothing that look that new or that specific style. The exhaust can on the back of the others are different with more rudimentary welds that I can find. Let us know how it sounds!

No, I cant seem to find any reference to them at all. I like it too. Just a little loud for my tastes.

Sure. There are tons of low-pipes out there that mount like this. I have never seen an all aluminum one like this though.
