DWNUNDR - I marked the back-bone of the frame with a scribe (so I could realign in correctly when I put it back together) and then cut it in half with a set of pipe cutters. I bought a length of 48.1mm DIA. x 4 W.T. black steel CHS and cut it to the correct length, I then bashed the pipe down inside the frame with a rubber mallet (this site pipe is a perfect fit but requires a bit of force). Once the frame was back together I realigned the two scribed marks and had the frame weld by a mate who owns a MIG. The weld was a little untidy so I cleaned it up with a belt sander than had the whole frame powdercoated. The weld mark cannot be seen now as the powdercoating adds a thickness to the frame. I was trying to find some chromemoly tube but it was quite hard to find so I ended up just using the black steel CHS with a greater wall thickness.

Mini-Fifty - Cheers bud

I'm looking at getting a new swingarm soon and I like the look of the Billetware sportsman. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good alternative? Shipping is bit of a problem here in Aus I got a quote from Billetware and the shipping was approximately $100 for the swingarm.

Haha yeah mate the photos were taken just after I changed the frame over so I thought I would give it a clean before the transplant. Definitely needed the HD frame with the 108 just need the front forks now to make it a full mod. It gets a bit sketchy now with stock style forks.. Lol

Finally someone that has a DrD pipe on a stocka!! Iv been trying to get a width measurement on the header pipe for a while now and nothing!!! So what is the width measurement please.. Also what do you think of the pipe overall preformance wise? And most of all... The exhaust note?? Does it sound any good?

The pipe is only made in one size and its designed to suit engines from 50cc to 108cc. The pipe is stepped, the smaller diameter which is closest to the head is like 16-17mm and the larger end is 25mm. Performance wise the pipe is great definitely makes the bike feels like it runs more crisp. I have run the pipe on both 88cc and 108cc and it runs good on both and sounds awesome, it's pretty loud though.

Not the best video cos its in a closed garage but it will give you a bit of an idea.. This is on the 108cc RH..

Thanks for the info... Should of givin that a nice hand full of throttle to get that peak note lol..
Haha yeah I took the video one night around 8:00pm so I tried not to annoy the neighbours to much.. The pipe definitely has more of a crisp punchy note than the stock, gives it the bike bike sound. As far as pipes spend the bit extra and skip the FMF powercore and go for the speed pipe or the drd. I have heard a lot of good things about the speed pipe on stockers, there are two sizes, one for stock and another for big bore. I ended up choosing the drd cos it covered a wider range of displacement.
