i just picked up my motor last night waitn on my frame to get here and then it all beguins

it is an 88 cc motor with a 107 head on it off an xtreme bike which i owned at one point. tak clutch new carb and i think that is it good running motor

 

needs to be washed bad

 

i washed the motor today and painted the frame and the left case cover to match

i used house of kolor orion silver with a bunch of glade green powder pearl put down 3 coats of base and then i had some clear sittin around from when i painted a friend of mines helment and i threw in some more of the glade green pearl in it looks realli cool IMO

i mounted the motor today but i have to make a plate to swivel the carb it was hittin the frame and kinda scratched it a little bit

i have the forks mounted and it is about half way done :slomo:



i will have pictures posted tomorow afternoon when i get some pictures of everything

 

do you know wat frame make is that is and how much did u get 4? i have the egzact same 1 powdered black and red

 

i figured out how to mount the carb with out hittin the frame i made a plate to move it over a little bit (last picture)



i dont know the make of the frame but i got it for 255shipped to my door



this is all i got as of now i have a tire wheel disc brake and a sproket comming this friday or monday ish

ya i know it is lol i am tryin to do like a budget build i guess as of right now i have 400 bucks into this bike and i am like 4 parts shy of ridin



the TB intake i had doesnt come close at all to clearing the frame so i rigged it i think it should work everything sealed alright

if it dont i will have to get that intake rotation piece i cant think of the name of it but it is basicly the same idea



and a FYI in the picture of just the left case that is not a run that is how my buddy cut that cover and tried to round the edges off that is not a run even tho it kinda looks like it i promise

 

what kind of forks do you have on there.

 

T-bolt usa has the mainfold adptr , you need it bad lol .

the frames been around for years same as the 14/12 sdg bike frame , a bunch of vendors sell them i did an import build with honda power a few years ago i got my frame from STAGGS RACING.

it is a strong frame and handles well for an import set up.

well first i am gonna see how my ghettoafied manifold works if it doesnt then will hit up t bolt should have my rear wheel here tuesday so then all that is left is chain pegs and mounts and figureing out the elecetrical



the forks are off my old xtreme 107



that ds is nasty all it has done to it is a exhaust and the computer is runnin the same settings as the factory riders and it pulls harder then my old yfz with about 4 grand in the motor

you cant go wrong with the ds but YOU NEED an exhaust slip on will work and a fuel controler or a power commander otherwise the ds is a DOG on bottom end i could not get a 5th gear wheelie if my life depened on it b4 the exhaust and reprogrammed now 5th gear all day



the swing arm i beleive is the piranaha swinger and frame i beleive that is kinda wat i have it narrowed down to

 

what gas tank r u runnin on there, cuz my XR tank wont fit, its off by like a couple centimetres

 

IMO paint ur shifter, rear sprocket and maybe ur bars to match.

 

the gas tank is off my old import bike i had it was an xtreme 107 it is close the fender bolts are kinda tight to the front but o well



i would paint the bars shifter and rear sproket to match but i ran outta that color i made and it would be a pain in the a$$ to dublicate

 

i have everything i need to get this bike done except graphics but a buddy of mine is maken me a set and a jersey for nothing basicly



now i am just waitin on parts to show up once again

and i have to make a the spacers for the rear wheel so it isnt floppin or movin around on the axle then it is time to ride!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will put all my parts on sometime today (if i can move because of my back) and post up some more pics of everything

 

i got the exhaust on and the wheel on and the spacers made yesterday

my ghetto intake works and doesnt leak

the exhaust was to short for the mounting bracket so i have to figure something out for that which i think i have an idea already

i am waitin on a gas cap, clutch lever, throttle cable(spare), and a chain which i ordered from AHP minis and should be here today or monday.



the motor runs ok i need to tune her bad wont idle but it runs strong and sounds good

All you would have needed is a piece of card from say a ceral box to make a gaskit, also making on from an old inner tube works a real treat

 

i got lots and lots of rvt so that will work jjust as good =]
