Will a 125cc engine from an 80s 4 wheeler fit our bikes?
Its electric & pull cord start.
Or is it an engine like on a ct90 to where its bigger and will not fit the frame?
Here's tge only pic he sent of it. Its a horizontal engine also.

So this 125 is like a bog block ct90 style then?

What all years were the 110 made that will fit?
Atvs only had em?

See a nice 110 as a modern version of a honda cub (or a big wheel scooter with a normal drivetrain)
There are 4speed manual and 4speed semi versions.

The scooter/engine was made in Thailand. But not anymore, it is followed up by the nice/wave 125. These 125 engines do not fit.

The zn110 engine can be tuned till 175-180cc (58-59 bore, 66mm stroke.) google for tjr, trp, hsm. Closer to home, fpm can do some tricks as well .

Wait so it will fit or it will not?
And its cdi you say? Even better.
Its a complete four wheeler running. Carb needs rebuilt.

nielspbr is correct.

To my knowledge, the only engines that share the common 50/70 mounts are:

Nice 110
CA/C 200 (90cc)
ATC/CL/CT/SL/XL 70
CRF/XR/ Z50
C/CA 110 (50cc)

The three wheeler engines from the 70s up to 125cc (aside from the atc 70) share the bolt pattern that's common with the SL90, CT90/110 which will NOT on their own bolt into a 50/70 style frame.

I believe Fatcaaat has successfully done a conversion (NOT bolt on). There are kits to fit 50/70 style engines into the 90/110/125 frames but not reverse to my knowledge - which is not exhaustive.

I think it may be the same as when I did a search an atv forum pops up and one posted to swap a lifan 125 if his engine was blown.
Now he didn't do the swap as it was something minor.
I was also reading that some have a gear reduction in it.
I don't know if this has it also. The guy seems to know nothing about it or enough about it.

There should be a high low switch on the side of the case I want to say shifter side if I remember correctly. Its been years since I've seen it.

I talked to my cousin he said he remembers the motor mounts being off by about 1 inch on the top mount. Said he thinks they used a piece of flat stock to make a little bracket but wasn't positive. That engine is gonna be HEAVY in a 50.

I put a atc125 motor in my 1993 ct70 about ten years ago. The top mounting ear had to be machined off a bit to clear the top mounting bolt on the ct frame. The lower mounting ear I had to fabricate an adapter bracket. The front sprocket was a larger chain size so I had to turn down the width of it to fit the 420 chain. Overall it had good power but trans ratio was a bit lower geared. Good for off road but not much speed different on the street. It had a sub transmission. In 1st gear low, it could climb a wall at idle. Wiring was very simple...since both bike and engine were factory cdi ignition. I even got extra over rev with the stock ct70 cdi because the atc125 engine was not the wasted spark type ignition...as the pickup was on the cam.
