so i just picked up my TB clutch, and kitaco hd springs and put it all together, i went to kick it and the kicker goes right down with no force.

this means i didn't adjust the clutch right because it was fine before i put this clutch on.

how tight to you tighten the bolts for the springs on the basket? i think i did them way to tight but im not sure.

also, i removed my old clutch cover when i began, and the peice that pushes up against the basket came falling out (its all marked up.. must have been loose or something?)

and since it came falling out, i don't know where it fits. i believe its supposed to fit right into the basket/plate cover but mine doesnt go in, its close but it will only sit against it..

anyone wanna take a stab at this and help me?

well i found out, the reason it wasnt turning over was because the kickstart shaft wasn't fit into the gear its supposed to.. it has alot of play, not sure if thats normal?

i got it on right though, and it turns over fine, but the clutch doesnt pull all the way, its alittle stiff and then it pulls normal just a tiny bit then it stops, but theres still alittle left in the lever

what did i do wrong?

i take that back, still a no go.

i did figure out the problem, the clutch is staying disengaged.

the bolts for the springs do not get tightened all the way... it didn't work with them all the way tight.

my buddy who put in his HD springs said that he snugged them all and then did a 1/4 turn on each bolt and his works good, i tried that but then plate the 6 bolts hold on sticks out to far and i cant get the cover on.

this could be because the little ball bearing spacer # 13091A/92045 in this picture. ( http://images.powersportsnetwork.com/fiche/images/Suzuki/2003/Motorcycles/2034_9.gif ). that peice DOES NOT fit into part # 13091 in that picture, i believe it should but it is marked up for some reason and wont fit. it sticking out could be the reason correct?

cmon guys i need some help i wanna rip on this thing!

will oil make a big difference? right now as i adjust it basically i throw the cover on, pull the clutch in and see if it moves..

right now i have all the bolts tightened down, everything SEEMS in place.. no oil in it really though, should i add oil and see what happeneds?

added oil... tiny improvement

right now i stand at the bolts tightened down nice and good, oil in, the centrifigal clutch removal ring installed, and cable is adjusted snug.

i must be missing a part, or didn't remove something... someone help, please.
