i drive a 1995 subaru legacy with a reciever hitch in the rear for a trailer. i was just wondering if there was someone on here who builds racks to put a pitbike on that would tie into a hitch like this. any info would help.

yup, i bought mine for like 70 from oreilly's...and it looks about the same, it's got end caps on it, but i think that would be easy enough to make and not worth the extra 30...lol....but ya...they're great...i carry two 50's on mine all the time..here's a pic
the ol' subie is gonna squat a little....but i remember your lard standing on the reciever hitch too. Should be pretty cool. Try not to get rear ended with a bike on the back! Looks like you would need to weld/bolt something to push the front wheel against when you tighten it down?? No biggie. It will be cool to have somebody else to ride with again...and a real MX track now.
i have one for my truck, i used it a lot with my old truck cause i didnt feel like taking my taneau off all the time...there's a pic of it...have about 30 bucks in steel and my buddy wellded it up for me.
i think my 50 would magically become a near factory bike if that happened.....i mean really...if they ran into you know they'd total it for probably 1500 if you had lots of aftermarket stuff on it...you could buy it back for 300, spend the extra 1200 fixing a set of plastics and handlebars, then you've got 1000 for all types of cool stuff..lol..beleive me...i've thought about it..lol..i had a few close calls with the 50's on the back...
I have a buddy that built one for about $50 bucks he has a 2000 accord he used trailer lights on each side so you could see his lights alot better. The harbor freight works fine but you might want to renforce it .
it looks sweet but its not going to work, i have the smaller reciever size 1''7/8'' maybe....?? im looking for something that will hug the bumper a bit more so it wont put alot of extra weight over the rear end. someone on here should start making them. any welders out there?
I can have one made for you...i'd need to get some of the smaller square stock for your receiver, but i can come up with something. does your bike have an extended swingarm or anything? i can build it to the specs of mine if it has an aftermarket swingarm and forks. oh and putting 150lbs on the back of the car isnt going to cause it to sag.
