Is it going to be alright to run the stock cam chain with my 143SE and 26mm carb?



What all is involved in changing the cam chain?

believe it or not but the stock cam chain is a DID heavy duty cam chain already....

The 110 cam chain is pretty beefy.



The 110 motor is really a good built motor.

you will be fine with your stocker.

Are you upgrading the valve springs? If so then i'd put a heavy duty chain on, you'll be fine with stock springs.

The SE head comes with valve springs, as far as i know theres no upgraded valve springs for the 143 SE.

Those are for the stock 110 head though arnt they?



The SE head is a total aftermarket head.

my guess would be that it uses the same chain, most likely they use a stock head mold and recast it with larger ports and cooling fins, i doubt there's anything custom about it for the price they charge.

It is distributed under the Kitaco brand, but is just a heavier duty DID than stock.
