Ok I have a xr 50 with all the parts that are listed in my sig. I really want to ride 50 tracks. There aren't that many around the sacramento area...yet. And I went to warehouse 909mx this last saturday night. I found it really hard for me to ride my little 50, the track was kinda tight. So I really do not want to do this, but I am thinking about getting a KLX 110 or DRZ 110. I wont buy a new one, I would buy a used one with parts on it already. I am somewhere around 6'3 -6'4. And I am kinda wondering how much you guys think my 50 is worth? Its in really good condition, and it has a brand new TB 108 kit that I just broke in on saturday. So it has 1 ride. Maybe there is another option like buying a lift kit? Would a 2 inch lift kit help a lot? Cuz I am pretty squirlly, but I can still jump it well. Do you guys think a 2 inch lift kit would help a lot? I know they look really gay, but I would rather do that than buy a 110.

I doubt the lift would help very much.I would say either buy the 110 or just stick with it and it should get better.If you buy the 110 I give buy your forks.

i wouldnt jump to conclusions about selling your 50 just yet....if it was the first time at the track and u were squirlly thats normal...it could have to do with the 108 kit....a sudden change of power is gonna change the way u ride untill u get used to it...id say stick it out for a while and see if it changes...its all about getting used to a certain type of riding...if you jump alot and thats it than ur good at jumping but getting on a track is different!

i know the track is different. I have riden three 50 tracks. and only two with good jumps. I ride motocross so Im no stranger to jumping. but i see what your saying...i will try to get use to it before i do anything crazy lol, like sell my 50!

btw I love my 50 (red baron frame, 107 etc) for the backyard it is SOO mUCH FUN, but i ride my 110 ( my first bike ever) on the big tracks and stuff.
But, if you are lacking power because the track is too tight you need a clutch

Warehouse 909 was sick! They have some nice jumps. But the track was pretty short. He just slapped a track together basically cuz they were running out of time. But I talked to Willy, and he said the track should be finished by this thursday including an over under, woop section, and a timing section (6 pack, which is 3 doubles in a row). So its really supercross style. It was my first time there, and it was pretty cool. Few problems with my bike, but got em fixed and its all good now. Pm me so we can talk about riding and shit.

I would wait a while and ride your 50 more. 110's are a good size but you have a sweeet 50. In a few months..If you still have the same problem, I would start thinking about selling it or parting it out. Otherwise, ride as much as possible. If you have to, you could maybe find someone who has a 110 and ask them to ride it for a little...Just to see if you like it better. Good luck.
