the only thing that to me is absolutely necessary to even ride a crf50 is big bars!! Unless your a young kid or midget.



Other than that maybe slap some rear/front stunt pegs on it and start bustin moves

 

As of right now, the stock bars don't bother me, but in a couple of months I guarantee that I will need new bars

 

the big bars make it easier.and pegs u can make urself.

 

I got some protaper xr 50 bars that ill sell you if your interested in gettin bigger ones

1. Tall Bars

2. Stunt Pegs

3. Motard Tires (not tubeless, those are a pain)

By more gas do you mean get on the throttle more? or filling the tank up? because I feel like a full tank would mess up wheelies a little due to all the extra weight up front

I meant not to get a tubeless, because they are a pain in the ass to break the bead.

Maybe on bigger bikes, but breaking the bead is cake on these things...pinching tubes is a much bigger hassle

 

I have pinched many a tube. use some dish soap and water to lube her up and its not so bad. Invest in tire spoons, screw drivers suck

 

do manual clutches help? because in another forum someone said that they dont

 

personally, id like a semi auto better, its easier, i had 2 stunt 50s one with clutch and the other wasnt and i used the one without the clutch more.. idk thats just me.. but thats cool your getting into stunting, its fun, and people get amazed when they see people on little ass bikes pulling off some sick shyt! good luck bro!

 

thanks, how important is suspension? I weigh 120 but im only 14, even though I have noticed the suspension is very soft

I've heard the higher the suspension the higher the balance point

 

for stunting who cares about suspension, like you said lower balance point with keeping it stock



If anything maybe slap stiff springs in it but I wouldnt even bother



Keep it semi auto clutch until you get good. Once your pro and can pull sweet **** off you will find the clutch better. As a learner though the auto clutch will make things much easier.

 

certain tricks are goof for clutch work, but suspension dosent really matter, ijust had two bros stiffer front springs and a hd back spring, worked good.. you dont need nothing fancy at all..
