OEM kx65 - fibers,plates and springs

 

When I placed my order last week with Tbolt USA I went with their HD clutch kit. It was only about $50 and was recommended since I was also buying a big bore kit. So with that said I would assume it would be safe on a stock or modded motor.

 

Yah i bought some $30 kit on ebay "tusk" with ebc springs and they dont work for sh*t

 

any other ideas?

 

I have a TB manual clutch with 3 stock and 3 heavy springs installed (staggered) in the stock clutch. Plates are stock and the motor is a 160 with a race head. It doesn't slip and also keeps the clutch pull fairly easy. I would think it would work good on an auto clutch setup too.

 

i have kg factory or something fibers and bbr springs. on a stock motor you may only wanna run 4 springs, i would just run 6 but its up to you

what springs then? and i dont want it to be super hard to shift up haha

 

Ok thanks. What would cause shifting to be hard to pull the lever up? My engine runs good, just is hard to shift sometimes

 

Clutch springs don't change anything regarding the stiffness of the shift lever

Actually it does.

If you are running a stock engine, when you shift, no only does it change gears, it also disengages the clutch. 6 stiff springs + stock auto clutch set up = hard to move shift lever.

Tbolt hows your clutch plates and springs? Might order a set. One motor is 150cc with no clutch, other is bone stock

I have a set and I love them! It's night and day and I was only running 4 hd springs!

 

4hd and 2 stock springs? Or just 4hd ones?!
