I got my bike and it has the u-flow on but with the uni filter it has on it makes it real busy under the tank. The filter is squeezed in between the left front plastic and some electrical that's under there to. Should i just run the bike without the u-flow and throw a pod filter on? how much of a difference is there? I'm running a tb 143 with a tb race head not the v2

Some people have good luck with the u flow some will say junk it, it kinds makes jetting a pain, but I liked mine unfortunately that bike got stolen so my current set up on the new bike is the stock boot with a pod filter. If ur thinking about getting rid of it hit me up, you can make it work awesome eith some patients and some jetting.

Btw I had to move my choke back one bolt on the frame to get it to fit better, but yeah it's kinda stuffed in there

sometimes ya gotta rejet it for the u-flow, ive had some people tell me there junk and some say they wouldnt ever run there bike without it again... i run one on my bbr, i think it is the way to go, it is pretty cramped up in there on the stock frame with the stator and plastics but i would run it unless u like the pod filter and you dont have to rejet it when you throw it on

i have one i could send ya for like 10 shipped lol u dont need it though, doesnt really do much dirt rarely hits where that covers up, i just leave it off to get more air:) i wouldnt worry about it bro it wont hurt not runnin it

if its just when it starts up could just be from being cold if it stops when ur ridin it.. if it always does it u may need to go up one in the pilot or i believe drop the needle in the carb down one.. not positive though someone may be able to tell you more on jetting

Yeah i gotta check on that, didnt know if its sucking to much air, i have a bbr 160cc big bore motor.

i would make a thread and see what jetting people are running with that setup so they can give u an idea, post up what all ur bikes doin and when and what jets are in it and what the needles at.. someone should be able to get ya on the right track

The U Flow is a love it or hate it thing. I personally think they are awesome, but they are a bit tricky to get dialed in. Once you get it jetted right they rock. I also have noticed that when my 110 with the U Flow was cold it was a bit boggy for the 1st minute, I think its just condensation inside the U Flow, but I may be entirely wrong.
