Hi, i read a lot of good comments for tbol and would be pleased to order from them! (engine)
What scares me the most is the hidden fee i would have to pay once it gets to my door.

So my question is...had anyone ordered engines from Canada and if so...did you had to pay a good chunk of change in duty fees/taxes??..Please let me know!

Thank you !

With the dollar the way it is these days it's getting pricey to buy anything over there and then to pay 13% Canadian tax, plus shipping, plus brokerage fees it's not worth it. Minimob racing is a Canada based company that sells a lot of stuff at very competitive prices. He charges us $ but ships from B.C and it gets here within the 4-5 days. Also for gear, plastic or tires you cannot beat Canada motorcycle. They have pricing similar to us prices but they are based out of Montreal.

Im trying out KINEK. ship to a kinekpoint in the u.s and go pick it up. Or have someone else pick it up for you. I ordered $300 worth of parts from partzilla and having my mother pick it up on her annual shopping trip. This will only work if you live near the border and are planning a trip to the states. Likely to get stung on duty if you just drive over to pick it up and drive back

IF you near the border quite a few companies will let us ship to them and have you pick it up
The UPS Store , Ship Station ect

For shipment to your house or business USPS / CANADA POST seems to be most economical
also one of the things we do to reduce cost is we refund and overages our automated system imposes once the parts are shipped out and we ONLY charge you the actual COST we PAY to ship
We have a few other things we do to keep the cost down to Canada and other International locations
