I heard his tranny locked up on his bike during the race.

 

I was wondering what happened to him. In his 2nd practice he had the fastest time in his group.

 

i can tell you that i raced him on pavement up my street, and his motor rips, i have an 88 w-head, and my buddy has a worked xtreme 107-- mark beat us both by several bike lenghts a couple times!!!

Did anyone else see any engine or major parts carnage in Vegas?

 

Aside from my hub breaking, I never saw any bikes break.

you would have to ask mark on the details, i do know that it had a high comp. piston, and nikosil cylinder-- pulled like a freight train at my house!

Really, what motard said was right, it's a stage 3 with a High Comp piston, nothing more, nothing less.

That was the only difference between his bike and mine (the red and black splatter painted one, I wasn't at Vegas tho cause I'm poor and having a baby ). Mines a regular stage 3, his is high comp. There was nothing "super trick" or whatever different from the stage 3 you can order from him. Mark's just fast Although he won't admit I'm faster :twisted: haha

Inner rotor....THAT'S IT (which is avail. as an upgrade on all engines). 24mm carb (comes with the motors-as an upgrade for stage 3's, sorry for not bein super specific)....no weight reduction to the bottom end...(that's coming soon, knife edge the crank etc)......no more ported or flowed than any other one you would get with a stage 3......same cam in every other engine....(bigger ones in the works when the bikes come back from vegas tho).....It's no BS, the stage 3's are fast....and were not tryin to hide anything! Actually, if you lived here I'd break one down in front of you and show you everything.....were not trying to hide anything from anyone!

 

24mm carb (comes with the motors)

Stage 1,2,and 3 does not come with a 24mm carb it is only a 20mm

 

like every other smart engin builder in racing they all have there small tricks that they keep to them selves for raceday so they have a little edge on the competition

well for one......im ASKING.....and two...i wasnt laughing at your post...i was laughing at your last comment....sorry i should have quoted it or something.....anyways, i am asking what else was done to it......i talked to mark for about 5 minutes and we didnt have time to go into detail on what exactly he had done to it.......



ive never ridden a stage 3.......so please enlighten me some.....send one my way and ill see how fast "fast" is.

Stage 3's are wicked.....alot of fun, and fast.......with smooth, broad, useable torque....and rev to the moon



Come on to PA, we've got two of them ready 8) (and by the time you get here we will probably have an excessively worked one for testing purposes)

No, this is Josh.....if you saw the bikes, Andy was riding mine....The red and black splatter painted bike....that was mine 8) I was suppossed to come to vegas and ride, but decided against it due to $$ for a little girl I'm having in July! Marks Got nothing to hide, His stage 3 is off the shelf with an Inner Rotor and 24 mm carb. PERIOD. The guy is 125lbs wet and is fast as hell thats it Pimpin your alway lookin for the bad or some scandle to push. I wish that I was there at Vegas But now Glad I didn't Race with all the Money involved and Little Fame the Cheaters in the Stock class and the Hacks in the pro class..... :twisted: I think I'll just Consentrate on the Local events and just Keep having fun and Goofing around out here on the East Coast.

Oh man, was that during qualifying? Someone had a broken rear tire and was pushing it near the finish line and I was telling Pimp, 'Oh that dude is done" That sucks if it was you.
