Anyone out there have a good recommendation for converting the 74 Mr50 to a 7/8 dia. Handlebar setup?
My 6 year old son is beating on the poor little vintage bike. Figure if is could switch from stock 3/4" to 7/8" bars (or even 1 1/8 ) for that matter), I could box all the original controls, and bars, and let him have@r until I can find I'm a bike that can take his abuse. He's pounding on the suspension. Hasn't fallen yet, but he will..
Any ideas would be helpful. I'm Thinkin bar risers, crf50 protaper pit bike triple clamp kit, but don't know if it will fit.....or some other arrangement.
