do you have a 57mm cylinder? and knowing what piston would help.

 

i was going to bore out my stok gpx cylmder and the 57mm piston from dratv with the 13mm pin

 

You can't safely bore out the stock gpx cylinder to 57mm. You can't even bore it to 56mm. Tbolt is supposed to have the 140 kit available very soon for less than $200. It will come w/ piston, rings, pin, cylinder. Not sure if gaskets are included but I would think so.

I stand corrected. When Vince sent me some info on the gpx a while back he said they were after 56mm pistons. I just assumed you could bore the stock cylinder out since that is what they wanted. Now that I have looked back at that e-mail I see that he was also wanting matching cylinder for the piston. That was a long time ago. I got that e-mail on March 19. Sorry, hope I didn't confuse anyone. Keep me straight.

well the biggert i can go is a 54??

 

if i have a 110cc zonsgen motor that has the 13mm pin will the 57mm piston work!!!! and will i be able to get the clindyer bored out... its a all black iron clindyer!!! the piston in there now is a 52 and the 13mm pin

No, you can't easily take the smaller stud pattern 107 motor out to 57mm. If you go to Dr ATV's site he has a page explaining what can and can't be bored out to 56mm.

 

Will the GPX stud pattern allow for a 57mm piston? This would give us a 145 engine that has the sought after "square motor" type of power. Then we just need to find someone to copy the +R Takegawa head, or the 4v Daytona head. Or better yet have the ability to install these heads. SERIOUS POWER!!

i have just got these 57 alloy lifan barels anyone no wats the biggest outside diamiter the gpx cases can take thinking of runing a 57x57 gpx with a zong head

do you halft to have a big valve head to run the 56 piston

 

no but you will need a flat top piston or one with a small dome and make sure you order extra starter idle gears as you will be tearing them up trying to start it.
