So i put in the TB 108 kit the other day and when i droped it in the bike the kickstarter was frozen up. everything else is smooth no problems but the damn kickstarted is stuck up. do i have to tear it all down again?

well, i've come to terms with tearing it down again, but has anyone had kickstarter problems before after a rebuild?

could be any number of things, kicker spindle not installed or assembled correctly, iirc there are 2 marks, one on the gear and one on the shaft that have to be lined up during assembly. Also check to make sure the return spring is wound properly and installed correctly.

Also verify all c-clips are back in the right spots.

For future reference, other than removing the kick lever, to split cases and install a sroker nothing else needs to come apart from the kick shaft assembly, The whole assembly can stay right in the right side engine case.

That's whats confusing me? I didn't mess with it at all and now no go?

Before spltiing the cases again try removing the spring retainer(stopper) and spring from under the clutch cover. See if you can rotate the kickstart in the opposite direction. You may just have to relocate the stopper and spring.

my flywheel was on backwards, finally got it running!

what gear are you able to put on backwards and lock it up? the big one on the primary shaft??????
